Affordable yet delicious local dish. Recommended place
Clean and cozy. Good place to start the day
Good place to have dinner with family & friends, but not lovers ya, you will be your own self when facing such delicious meals & snacks
Soto Kudus Blok M is the most delicious soto (soup) in South Jakarta, It located on Wijaya I street near to Jakarta SCBD, Police University (PTIK - Perguruan Tinggi Ilmu Kepolisian), Santa and Senopati area. It offers Mix Soto, Chicken Soto and Beef Soto. The price is fair, roughly US$7 - 10, the toilet is clean and easy to park your vehicle. It opens from 10am to 10pm, so it's nice to have lunch and dinner here with our friends or families.
Nice local soup with rice. Always good when you need hot chicken soup to warm your body.
Not very authentic of Soto Kudus, but its okay... The taste is too sweet fir me
I have not been to this place for donkey years (easily more than 20 years) Used to come here often with my Dad whenever we are in Jakarta. The soto campur is still good, BUT, not really value for money. you can get the same quality at a fraction of the cost. Eat there by myself, 2 bowl of soto campur, 2 kerupuk udang, 1 sate telur, 1 sate kerang, 1 es kopyor (with very little kopyor and lots of ice), es teh tawar = IDR 103rb
Good food & nice ambience
Good soto but portions are small.
Local Javanese chicken soup dish, or 'Soto Kudus almost similar to Soto Lamongan, a holy soto containing shredded chicken and bean sprouts. Sometimes also uses beef . The soup is clear soup. Its presentation has a tradition of being served in a small bowl for one serving of soto or can be served mix or seperated with rice. Added some garnish, clam satay, tofu, etc. Inexpensive and mouth watering
Favorite soto kudus restaurant! So good and a lot of topping and kerupuk 😂 and also 1 bowl is never enough 😂IG : @jeannehrwt
Favorit soto
Always delightful and still the same taste as ever..
Standard Soto Kudus, bit pricey, somehow the place was smelly and the waiter/waitress and cashier has no smile. However the place is easy to get. They forget to take some food from menu that no longer available...
The best soto kudus in town
Looks good. Neat and clean. Smoking area is upstairs.
Good food and also good price too
Delicious and tasty soto kudus at kebayoran i ever taste the place is spacious and comfy atmosfer
One of the oldest soto in jakarta
As for the food itself is fine, but the place is smelly! I don't know what the problem is but I saw a group of people cancelled their visit because of the smell. I told one of the staff about the smell but they didn't seem to care.. I probably won't come back
Unfriendly waiter(s), sup was not hot as expected, bit pricey compare to the taste and quality.
one of my fave after gowes
convenient location, mostly on-time, but too much "orang kampung" ride from here.
You have to try “nasi pindang kudus”. It looks like rawon but different.
Still Good for traditional chicken soto
Good old kudus soup. Very fresh dan nice smell
A comfort food for me. Clean place, affordable and great taste.
Descent, good pricing, but lack element of surprise.
Soto Kudus is the name of soup, which originaly tradional food from Kudus, Central Java. Soto Kudus is the main menu, you also can find other soup like Rawon (black soup with javanese spices), Pindang (sour spicy food). All of soup menu can enjoy with side dishs and creackers. Side dish have many kind of choice, like eggs, tofus, etcThere are many choice of creackers, like shrim, fish, skin of cow, lung intestin, etcYou can find nut like peanuts, cashew nut, etc
Old but bold restaurant.Pros:1. Good for groups. Even though in a state of full capacity, dining room temperature still maintained.2. Savory and tasty broth.3. Try their new wedang uwuh, real good.Cons:1. Small parking capacity and no shelter.2. Taste not as good as the old days ago. Getting sweeter recently.3. Quite pricey for small size soto (chicken broth soup).
I prefer street soto then this one. The meat is kinda rough and the soup's flavor was not so in-depth. They serve sate usus, sate kerang, tahu tempe etc that you can choose from the basket and count what you have take. But it was just average. The staffs were humble and the place was clean.
Delicious soto and not expensive
It serves authentic Indonesia food. Price is a bit high but it is compensated by its' delicious taste. Parkir spaces is ample. Must try food.
The place is nice and comfortable to eat with family. The spaces between tables is wide enough so we dont get bothered with visitor's movement. The soto tastes good enough and price is not expensive. But for me there is still many soto place that is better than this place so 4 stars is good enough.
Great food with affordable price!
a bowl is NEVER enough. together with the padang-style-plater of take yourself goodies are the perfect combo for a comfort meal.
The best soto kudus in town. I've been visiting soto kudus blok m since I was still in elementary school. One of delicious foods in Jakarta my grandparents introduced me. They have several outlets in town; wijaya, radio dalam, bintaro and several others. My favorite menu of course soto kudus, and sate kerang. Nasi gandul and lumpia goreng are also delicious.
Standard menu and standard taste of Soto for quick lunch or dinner. Price is reasonable. They have ample parking space.
The place is very comfy, they have air conditioner, and the waiters are always ready to serve whenever you call one of them. The food (Soto) is very delicious too, the broth and the meat all taste fresh
Average place with a good taste
The smell of bamboo shoots cooking is abit overwhelming for my senses. Soup was not as hot, condiments are very limited. I was there around 8pm only
Classic beef or chicken soto with various type of side dish such as satay, tahu, tempe, crackers and many more. Delicious!
Taste of the food there are still as good as in the past. Unfortunately this evening I found the dining room on the groundfloor has bad smell... I was with a big group of my family. We almost abandon the restaurant and go somewhere else... This is a serious, important and urgent area for improvement for the owner.
Good food, small portion tho. Have to order double.
Try Beef Rawon here, nothing special in taste, more on very blunt taste. The price is average. You can pay using debit card with minimum 100k IDR Bill. They have sone variants of Kerupuk and Sate here. Parking space available.
Local taste with modern ambience
Delicious chicken soup to start your day. Its a famous one in Jakarta.
Easy to spot in Jalan Wijaya Kebayoran. Serve Central Javanese traditional "soto" with various kind of side dish, crackers, and some traditional drink. There are also several snacks in Cashier. Toilet, praying hall, aircon, and parking area are provided. I think they have to improve the taste so the price become more reasonable.
Good place to take your family out for gathering. Savoury "soto kudus" with various condiment to choose
They serve lovely soto in clear broth. You can order separate rice or mixed, delicious anyway. Skewers and fritters were also served. An old time favorite!
